So often when people set out for a long trek in the trails they spend a great deal of time SmartWool® Men's Adventurer Crew Hiking Sockworrying about their footwear. Of course, you want to make sure that you’re wearing great shoes with proper grip and that will keep you protected from wet conditions. But you also need to worry about what’s inside the shoe – you need to think about your socks and determine if they’re the right hiking socks for the job!

Many people think that cotton socks are the best choice for hiking because they are so soft and feel so comfortable when you first slip them on your foot. But, cotton doesn’t wick the perspiration away from your foot; and after a few hours of wearing them, you’ll find that your feet are uncomfortable and may even develop a condition such as athlete’s foot after your stroll. Instead, wool socks such as Smartwool Hiking Socks are a much better choice. Wool socks are made of natural fibers and so they are warm and will dry naturally on their own should they become wet. And even if that happens, wool socks will still keep you warm, whereas cotton will not.

You’ll find discount Smartwool socks, as well as any other socks you need for your hike, at Amazing Socks, and at great prices too. Because we know how important it is for you to protect your feet, and we don’t think you should pay too much to do it!
